Abstract/Description: | The artifact is a Tampa Tribune, Tampa Bay Times newspaper article written by Barbara Hunting. It is comprised of photographs of and details about Joan Haley’s renovation of the Pass-a-Grille Community Church to serve as her home. Haley purchased the church in 1957 to save it from demolition. Upon her death, the church was bequeathed to Pinellas County. It is currently home to the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum. |
