Treasure Island Causeway to the Gulf Beaches, St. Petersburg, Florida (S-39)

Abstract/Description: Color Postcard. An angled view of the Treasure Island Causeway from the bridge in St. Petersburg, Florida with a blue car passing through a bridge checkpoint. There are two docked wooden boats on the water by the start of the bridge. There is a small dock and launch that is attached adjacent to the beginning of the bridge. On the back, it is post marked for February 24th, 1951 at 9:30 AM. The post card was sent from Saint Petersburg, Florida to an organization on Lowell St. in Manchester, New Hampshire. The messages on the postcard is believed to be about some “house” deals that have been barred from March 1st, 1951 for 12 months. The person is asking to refer to Chapter 4, page 7, line 10 in the latest edition of some book.
