Sailboat on the Gulf of Mexico

Abstract/Description: A black and white photograph of a sailboat in the water not far from shore. This photograph came from a scrapbook about the Sunshine School, a unique school opened in 1926 for early settlers of the Pinellas barrier islands. All classes were taught outdoors, and unusual topics made their way into the curriculum. This may be documentation of a sailing class that would have happened at the school.
