Abstract/Description: Color postcard. Publisher text on rear reads: "The BEFORE AND AFTER of the famous Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Eleven miles of bridge and causeway cressing Tampa Bay from St. Petersburg and Bradenton. Here is where a Coast Guard Cutter, on January 28, 1980, collided with a freighter capsizing the Coast Guard Cutter and sinking it killing 23 men aboard. Then, after being struck several times before, on the morning of May 9, 1980, it was hit by a freighter, knocking down the south bound span. One bus and several cars went down with it, killing 34 people."
