The Sunshine Society created the first library in Pinellas Park in the 1920's and served the community until the 1940's. We know the names of some of these women but not all. Row one: Willy Felts, Mrs. Stroot, Mrs. Stonsberry and her daughter, Mrs. Ma Whinney, and Mrs. Faber (Bunn). Row two: Mrs. Hartzell, Mrs. Duncan, Mrs. Foster, and Mrs. Thomas. Row three: Mrs. Delfass, Marie (McDevitt) Wager, Ditty, and Miss Gervean. Row four: Mrs. Decant and an unnamed woman. |
