The Bay Shores Path, Pass a Grille, Florida

Abstract/Description: Colored post card of Bay Shore Path in Pass a Grille, Florida. The image illustrates a couple on the path, with both wearing hats and the woman holding an umbrella as to protect themselves from the summer sun. The post card was written by an individual by the name of Hurley to their friend Miss Hutchings. The postcard only states the word “How”, leading one to assume that this post card is part of a long conversation between Hurley and Miss Hutchings as Hurley vacationed in Florida. The post card was written March 7, 1915 and mailed the following date on March 8, 1915. A one cent stamp illustrating President George Washington can be seen in the upper right-hand corner.
