Dock at Passe-a-Grille, Fla.

Abstract/Description: This is a postcard of a dock at Passe-a-Grille, Fla. In the image, you can see men and women, the men holding fish; presumably fish they caught or bought that day. The message on the back of the postcard, written by Sidney E. Packard, is addressed to a “friend” named Baolis (?) H. Aldeu (?) of the Stetson Estate in DeLand, Fla. In the message, the writer talks about the real estate market of Passe-a-Grille in 1911, stating that “18 lots sold for a good figure” and how “Florida sums land of Sunshine and Real Estate booms.” Postmarked 1911-01-25.
